Safari Landcruiser 4WD

Experience Australia with Britz's 4WD - the Toyota Safari Landcruiser! Built tough, with manual transmission, it’s the ideal vehicle to tackle the rugged 4WD tracks on the way to those iconic Outback locations. Five people can be accommodated for, but for more space, we recommend taking this vehicle as a group of four. You’ll have incredible sunset and stargazing views from the rooftop tent with annex. It’s simple to set up and completely sealed, so none of those creepy crawlies can get in. Yes, there can be comfort in the wild, our self-inflating sleeping mats and bags are manufactured by Darche - the camping equipment experts. The 2020 chassis model is fitted with our Britz equipment, snorkel and comes with an Outback safety kit, a pop-up awning, picnic table & chairs and kitchen equipment so you have everything you need for the ultimate 4WD experience.

Travelling to Fraser Island is not permitted. The Safari Landcruiser is available to and from Adelaide, Alice Springs, Brisbane, Broome, Cairns, Darwin, Melbourne and Perth and are only available for travel from April 2020 to November 2020 inclusive.

Child/Booster Seats

This vehicle has positioning for a total of two child restraints. Two child seats (three years and under) can be fitted to the rear forward facing seat with an anchor point. OR two booster seats (minimum four years of age) can be fitted to the rear seat with a lap-sash belt. The type of restraint required for your child depends on their age.

Outback Safety Kit

The Outback Safety Kit is included in the vehicle and contains an Emergency Position Indication Radio Beacon (EPIRB), snatch strap with D shackles and a folding spade. An EPIRB when activated transmits an emergency distress signal which can be detected by Australian rescue authorities. A snatch strap is used to pull a vehicle from a bogged position with the aid of another vehicle. The D shackles secure the snatch strap to a rigid anchor point.
