Mount Maunganui

Dawn the new day with a breathtaking view from the top of the mount (and we don’t just mean from the 45-minute uphill climb it takes to get there).

Wellington Cable Car

New Zealand’s capital is full of little gems and the historic Cable Car trip is one of them. Escape Lambton Quay’s shopping strip for just a moment and catch a ride up the hill to Kelburn, it’s a view you’ll want to see.

Cape Reinga

Want to drive to the end of the road and see one of the most Northern points of New Zealand? Then make you’re your way up to Cape Reinga and see where the Pacific and Tasman Oceans collide.

Castle Point Lighthouse

On the edge of the South Pacific Ocean the beach can be wild…but just imagine the photos you will get.

Waitomo Glowworm Caves

The Waitomo Glowworms caves are a starry wonderland. Whether you walk, boat or go blackwater rafting, you’ll want to capture photos of these incredible caves.

Known for its geothermal activity, Rotorua is guaranteed to put on a show with the geysers, with natural mud hot pools. Take your camera, you’re not going to want to miss this!

South Island

Lake Tekapo

There is a reason why the Church of the Good Shepherd is the most photographed church in New Zealand. But that’s not the only reason to stop in Tekapo, the southern lights are best seen there and are something not to be missed (we recommend going between April and September).

Roy's Peak

The South Island is famous for its majestic landscapes, so put yourself in the middle of it all when you climb Wanaka’s Roys Peak.

Franz Josef Glacier

It’s not every day you can see panoramic views of mountains while walking amongst giant pinnacles of ice – and trust us, no filters needed!

Lake Matheson

Not only does it reflect some of NZ’s favourite snowcapped mountains on its waters, but Lake Matheson is also surrounded by a lush native forest… what more could you ask for?

There are too many great photo ops around Queenstown to list, but one that will never disappoint is Lake Wakatipu, especially with the Remarkables for a backdrop. Fun fact, the lake is shaped like a lightning bolt!
