What you need to know about Launceston

How to get to Launceston

So there are a few ways to get to Launceston from a Britz Camper hire location. The first is by picking your camper up from the Hobart branch, and then embarking on the scenic drive to Launceston that will take around 2.5 hours. The other option is to pick up your camper from the Britz Melbourne branch, then drive down to Geelong and take the ferry across to Devonport. From Devonport, it’s then an hour’s drive to Launceston. This route from Melbourne is longer, but of course, there are many places along the way to check out on your road trip. Whichever route you choose, we’re sure you’re going to love the drive, especially in the comfort of your Britz campervan.
