Day 1
Auckland to Waitomo

Distance 202km - Driving Time 2.5 hours

Pick up your Britz campervan in Auckland and point your wheels toward the rolling Waikato. Today eases you into road trip rhythm with a gentle countryside drive to one of New Zealand’s most unique natural wonders.

Note that Russell lupins are seasonal and considered invasive in parts of the Mackenzie, so flowering varies by location and timing.

Day 14
Christchurch

Distance 25km - Driving Time 1 hour
