Child/Booster Seats

This vehicle can accommodate 1 child over the age of four years.Child seats cannot be fitted in this vehicle. Children under four years must not travel in this vehicle. One booster seat (minimum four years of age) can be strapped in the front passenger seat with the diagonal lap-sash seatbelt. Britz recommend that a Britz Safari 4WD or Britz Outback 4WD is considered when travelling with a child. The type of restraint required for your child depends on their age.

Outback Safety Kit

The Outback Safety Kit is included with the Scout 4WD. The Kit includes an Emergency Position Indication Radio Beacon (EPIRB), snatch strap with D shackles and a folding spade. An EPIRB when activated transmits an emergency distress signal which can be detected by Australian rescue authorities. A snatch strap is used to pull a vehicle from a bogged position with the aid of another vehicle. The D shackles secure the snatch strap to a rigid anchor point.
