What to Expect at Pickup

We hope you are as excited as us about your upcoming holiday! To make sure you are fully prepared we’d like to take you through what to expect at the branch when you arrive to pick up your camper.

 

Before you arrive

  • Complete your Self Check-In.. All customers are required to complete their online self-check-in at least 14 days prior to arrival. Checking in with us online will ensure we have all the information we need ahead of your pick-up, as well as speed up the check-out process for you. It’s important we have your correct contact details so we can call you, should we need to, before you get here. Make sure you have your booking number with you to complete the self-check-in process.
  • Take the time to read the Rental Agreement. You need to understand, and be familiar with, the contents as this is what you will be signing at pick-up. You can view the document in the App.
  • Download the thl Roadtrip App. This will help you plan your holiday and give you access to a show-through video of your camper.
  • Pack your Driver's Licence. It is vital that you bring your Driver's Licence with you. 
  • Driver's Licence. If your driver's licence is not in English then we require an accredited English translation or an International Driver's permit, along with your driver's licence. We must sight both at pick-up.

 

Getting to us

We have parking available at our Alice Springs, Cairns, Darwin and Melbourne branches. Parking space is limited so is available by prior arrangement only. For all other branches we have listed local secure parking options below; some even offer a special discount to our customers: 

  • Adelaide: Adelaide Airport Long Term Parking - 1 James Schofiled Drive, Adelaide Airport. Ph. 08 8308 9380. 2.5km from the branch.
  • Brisbane: Andrews Airport Parking - 539 Nudgee Road, Hendra Ph. 07 3268 4222. 4.5km from the branch. Drop-off and pick-up service available for maui, Britz and Mighty customers (allow 15-20 minutes)
  • Broome: Roebuck Smash Repairs - 30 Pembroke Rd, Broome. Ph. 08 9192 2095. 260m from the branch. AU$10 per day
  • Hobart: Airport Undercover Parking - 94 Kennedy Drive, Cambridge. Ph. 03 6248 5882. 3.1km from the branch.
  • Perth: Hamer Parking - 20 Redcliffe Road, Redcliffe. Ph. 08 9277 4775. 240m from the branch.
