Experience the thrill of outback driving and travel to Richmond on the Kennedy Development Road. No towns in between so make sure you have stocked up on your supplies. Take your time and enjoy the scenery.

Travel though part of the Great Artesian Basin and experience the Australian Dinosaur Trail. Get the feel of the dinosaurs travelling this great Outback lands, visiting Winton the Dinosaur Capital of Australia, and Hughenden along the way.

Head east through Charters Towers to Townsville. Hop on a ferry to Magnetic Island and spend a day or a night. 

Travel north on the Great Tropical Drive back to Cairns.
