The Gold Coast
Full of glitz and glamour, fun and adventure the Gold Coast is sure to open a few eyes and keep everyone happy. Take the kids to the theme parks, have a family day at the beach, check out Australia's tallest residential building and eat at a multitude of restaurants. Keep your eyes peeled for the iconic 'meter maids' so you can have your photo snapped with one of these beauties!
The Eumundi Markets
An easy drive from both Noosa and Mooloolaba is the beautiful town of Eumundi. On Wednesdays and Saturdays Eumundi explodes with market goers. A hive of local entertainment, art, homemade crafts, delicious local food and drink (load up the camper, spoil the kids with a treat and be entertained all at the same time), it has everything you could want and more. We're pretty sure if you looked hard enough, you could even find the kitchen sink!

Australia Zoo
Home to the famous Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin and his family Bindi, Bob and Terry, a visit to Australia Zoo is the ultimate travel adventure. Located only an hour north of Brisbane (a quick 25 minutes if you're staying on the Sunshine Coast). You can even walk in Bindi Irwin's shoes and be a zoo keeper for a day. The kids will love feeding the kangaroos by hand, cuddling a koala, getting to touch a snake or watching the world famous Crocodile Show.
Airlie Beach
With pristine beaches, proximity to the Great Barrier Reef and incredible atmosphere, it's easy to see why people walk away from Airlie Beach in love. With plenty of activities for the kids (with everything from tours, sailing, snorkelling, bushwalking and relaxing) you can guarantee it's a location they'll be talking about for years to come. There are also plenty of wining and dining opportunities for parents, and it's worth checking out the famous nightlife of Airlie Beach.

Millaa Millaa Falls
Take a day trip from Cairns to Atherton Tablelands and explore 'Waterfall Circuit'. Not only is it home to the most instagrammed waterfall in Australia, Millaa Millaa Falls, the kids will love being in the great outdoors and having the opportunity to also discover the other four waterfalls in the area: Zillie, Ellinjaa, Pepina and Mungalli. The waterfall circuit is perfect for a swim, is easy to access and has barbecue facilities and a bathroom.
Ingan Tours
Experience the unique culture of Rainforest Aboriginal people on these walking and kayaking tours. These tours are the kind of educational experiences that feel like way too much fun to be educational. The Ingan team are based out of Tully (a day trip from Cairns) up in Tropical North Queensland and all tours take place in the region. You and your family will leave these tours feeling more connected to each other and Australia.
