Outback Safety Kit
The Outback Safety Kit is included with the Outback 4WD. The Kit includes an Emergency Position Indication Radio Beacon (EPIRB), snatch strap with D shackles and a folding spade. An EPIRB when activated transmits an emergency distress signal which can be detected by Australian rescue authorities. A snatch strap is used to pull a vehicle from a bogged position with the aid of another vehicle. The D shackles secure the snatch strap to a rigid anchor point.
Please note: A current and full motor vehicle driver’s licence is required and must be produced upon vehicle collection.
Visiting us from overseas? If your license is in a language other than English it must be accompanied by a current international driving permit issued in the same country as the driver’s licence was issued. An accredited English translation will be accepted in lieu of an international driving permit.

Essential Items included with every campervan:
General living - Dustpan and brush, fire extinguisher, bucket and hose, broom (2WDs), matches, clothes line, pegs, hangers (2WDs), dishwashing liquid, dish cloth and toilet roll (in vehicles with a toilet).
Kitchen gear - Plates, bowls, cups, cutlery and cooking utensils, drinking glasses, microwave storage containers, electric jug (2WDs), toaster (2WDs) and tea towel.
For comfort - Pillows and pillowcases, duvets/doonas (sleeping bags for the Safari Landcruiser 4WD and Outback 4WD), sheets and towels.
This service is included in the Inclusive Pack and The Bundle. This allows you to stop into the closest branch during your hire and swap your linen (pillow, pillowcase, duvet (doona) or sleeping bags (4WDs), sheets and towels) over for a fresh, clean set. Where possible it would be great if you could notify the branch ahead of time as this will ensure the items are available and ready for you when you arrive.
